Satellite Security Systems officials announced the launch of Ionit, a satellite security and monitoring solution for both tethered and untethered units. Ionit is a covert system placed on individual units and tracked via satellite communications and GPS for up-to-the-minute location and monitoring. The solution will provide “superior accountability and efficiency for the trucking industry,” the company said.
