StarBand, a McLean, Va.-based two-way, high-speed satellite Internet service provider, has launched the StarBand 481 Telecommuter service to provide a business-grade satellite modem capability that is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh. The new product also will offer faster download and upload speeds than previously available through StarBand.
