DirectTV, a unit of Hughes Electronics [HS], renewed its contract with NDS Group plc [NNDS] to continue receiving the NDS VideoGuard conditional access system and services to support the satellite TV provider’s service for the next six years. Financial terms of the contract extension were not disclosed.
