Harrisburg, Pa.-based TransCore purchased satellite tracking, monitoring and GPS technology assets belonging to Ottawa-based Vistar Telecommunications. The acquisition will allow TransCore to offer fleet, rail/intermodal and shipper customers a complete supply-chain-visibility capability as well as to bring an all-encompassing secure chain-of-custody solution to the homeland-security market. Vistar is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSI Global Inc. [NGL].
