Digital Angel [DOC], a South St. Paul, Minn.-based communications company that deploys Global Positioning System (GPS) services to track and locate livestock, named Scott Silverman as its new chairman. Silverman had served on the company’s board as vice chairman since December 2003, and he replaces former Chairman Richard Sullivan. Kevin McGrath remains Digital Angel’s CEO.
