Digital+, the pay-TV satellite operator in Spain, ended 2003 by reporting nearly 1.8 million subscribers, despite launching service only last July after the successful merger of two rival pay-TV platforms, Canal Satelite Digital and Via Digital. The amassed 1,796,000 subscribers was a highlight of Sogecable‘s (Digital+’s parent company) full-year results that were announced Feb. 17.
