XM Satellite Radio Holdings [Nasdaq: XMSR] announced Friday that it has priced at $26.50 per share an underwritten public offering of 20 million shares of its Class A common stock, including 7 million shares offered by the company representing new financing, and 13 million shares offered by certain shareholders. In addition, one of the shareholders has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to 3 million additional shares to cover overallotments. The transaction is expected to close on or about Jan. 28.
