Paris-based satellite operator GlobeCast has signed a contract to deliver Vectone Entertainment Network‘s community channels – Vectone Urdu, Vectone Bangla, Vectone Tamil and Vectone Hindi – using Eutelsat‘s Eurobird and Hot Bird satellite platforms. Vectone TV’s four channels are free-to-air and are broadcast in the language identified by the channel titles. GlobeCast is providing Vectone with end-to-end channel distribution. Program content is played out at Vectone’s Docklands’ facility and then fed via fiber to GlobeCast’s digital media hub in Grays Inn Road, London, for delivery to the Eutelsat birds.
