AccessVia, a provider of automated sign printing solutions and electronic display technologies for retailers, has received a contract to provide stores on 225 U.S. Army and Air Force military bases with Web-based in-store sign printing capabilities. With AccessVia’s product, military personnel in field stores will be able to print signs immediately using a centrally delivered application – with no software installation or local application management. Using a PC linked to the military’s satellite network, store staff will log in to a Web site, choose a predesigned template, and start printing signs for items in the store.
