C-Com, ShowNet Sign Middle East Distribution Agreement

Ottawa, Canada-based C-Com Satellite Systems [TSXV: CMI] has signed a distribution agreement with ShowNet Internet Solutions, a Kuwait- based reseller of DirecWay broadband satellite service, to distribute C-Com’s iNetVu mobile antenna platforms in the Middle East. No financial terms were disclosed. The iNetVU 1200 self-pointing antenna system will enable users in the Middle East to access two-way satellite-based mobile Internet service. DirecWay is a broadband satellite service offered by Germantown, Md.-based Hughes Network Systems.
