Rome Research Corp. (RRC), a subsidiary of PAR Technology [NYSE: PTC], was awarded a $1 million contract to operate and maintain the Department of Defense teleport commercial satellite terminal systems at the U.S. Navy‘s satellite communications facility in Chesapeake, Va. The contract requires that the teleport terminal be operated on a 24 hours per day, 365 days per year basis.
