SES Astra Gets New Contracts for Satellite Broadband Services

SES Astra, an SES Global [Luxembourg: SESG] subsidiary, has recently received contracts to provide one-way satellite broadband services to households in Germany, Hungary and the United Kingdom.
In Germany, SES ASTRA has contracted with BBV-Computer-Dienst to provideAgrosat satellite broadbandservice to members of the German Farmers’ Association.
In Hungary, SES Astra is providing satellite services to EticS for its new interactive TV service for the Hungarian market. In the UK, SES Astra has teamed up with network and communications specialist AVC Europe to launch the UK’s first nationwide consumer broadband Internet-via-satellite service.
