EchoStar Communications [Nasdaq: DISH], an Englewood, Colo.-based satellite television provider, has won $5.5 million in a lawsuit filed against a former retailer. The court ruled that Sky Cable of Pennsylvania violated a retailer agreement with EchoStar signed in 1997 and re-executed in 1999.
