The Bankruptcy Court of Eastern Virginia has approved the Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization plan of Orbital Imaging (ORBIMAGE),a Dulles, Va.-based provider of satellite imagery. With the court’s approval, ORBIMAGE will be able to emerge from Chapter 11 in the near future. “The confirmation order is a significant milestone for ORBIMAGE because it means we’re through with the bankruptcy court process and can now focus all our energy on executing our business plan,” said Matthew O’Connell, CEO of ORBIMAGE.
