Intelsat intends toissue $900 million in senior unsecured notes in a private placement to finance the company’s purchase of Loral Space and Communications‘ [OTC BB: LRLSQ] North American satellite assets. Net proceeds from the sale of the notes also may be used for Intelsat’s general corporate purposes.
