AGCO, an agricultural equipment dealer, has selected Spacenet, a U.S. subsidiary of Israel-based Gilat Satellite Networks [Nasdaq: GILTF], to provide VSATs and satellite networking services for AGCO 1,500 stores in North America. Financial terms were not disclosed. Under the terms of the agreement, Spacenet’s Connexstar channel partner Business Information Technology is installing the VSATs at AGCO’s dealer locations. The Connexstar service enables AGCO dealers to use broadband applications, such as access to equipment orders, sales and advertising information, parts book and service information, online ordering and other e-business tools.
