XATA, [Nasdaq: XATA] a Burnsville, Minn.-based fleet management company, has been awarded two orders from unidentified customers totaling approximately $1.5 million, including a $970,000 order from a major grocer and a $500,000 order from a pharmacy retailer. The orders included XATA’s onboard computers and mobile application modules equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) and ORBCOMM satellite communications capabilities. XATA’s fleet management products will installed in about 400 trucks.
