STMicroelectronics’ [NYSE: STM] total chipset shipments to XM Satellite Radio [Nasdaq: XMSR] now exceeds two million kits, according to the company. STMicroelectronics also has delivered samples of a one-chip receiver to replace the existing two-chip receivers. The new one-chip receiver will be able to transmit data as well as receive radio broadcasts.
