Iridium Satellite, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of global satellite voice and data communications, has signed a partnership agreement with SkyTrac Systems for SkyTrac to resell Iridium data service to the aviation market. Financial terms were not disclosed. SkyTrac Systems is a Penticton, Canada, -based provider of two-way messaging service between aircraft and ground stations. Under the agreement, SkyTrac will provide to aircraft short messaging service, GPS and other data services via Iridium satellites.
