Canadian firm MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates has been awarded a contract worth several million dollars by the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. (EADS) to participate in the delivery of an additional mobile ground station to the U.S. military. The new EADS ground station will enable the U.S. Air Force’s Eagle Vision system to obtain information from Canada’s RADARSAT-1 satellite, as well as Indian, French and American satellites.
