Intelsat Global Sales & Marketing and TVNZ Satellite Services have agreed tojoin forces in the occasional use broadcast services business. This alliance is designed to leverage the strengths of each company by offering a global network of satellite and terrestrial infrastructure, complemented by a portfolio of television broadcast and enterprise services. Upon completion of an agreement, the alliance between Intelsat and TVNZ will create a combination, under one umbrella, of an occasional use satellite provider and a television broadcaster. The alliance will be managed day-to-day by New Zealand-based TVNZ.
