Stratos Reports Increase in Earnings, Revenues

Stratos Global [TSX: SGB], a Bethesda, Md.-based satellite communications provider, recorded net earnings for the second quarter of $8.3 million, or 16 cents per share, an increase of $5.7 million over the $2.6 million in net earnings, or 6 cents per share, reported for the same period last year.
The company reported revenue of $108.2 million for the quarter, a 31 percent increase over $82.8 million for the same period last year.
