Globecomm Systems [Nasdaq: GCOM], a Hauppauge, N.Y.-based provider of satellite-based communications, announced Thursday that it has been working with an unidentified customer in an effort to restore telecommunication services in Iraq. The company has implemented a satellite circuit into Baghdad, enabling voice connectivity and Internet access services.
