Orbit International’s [Nasdaq: ORBT] Behlman Electronics unit has received orders from the U.S. military to provide power supply components for a U.S. Army mobile satellite communications system and for Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicles, which use satellites to communicate data to the home base. The two orders are worth a combined $260,000 for the company. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter and continue into the first quarter of next year.
