Globecomm Systems [Nasdaq: GCOM], a Hauppauge, N.Y.-based supplier of satellite communications products and services, has received an $8.3 million contract to supply fixed and mobile earth station terminals for satellite communications from an undisclosed multilateral organization. The contract also has options for additional equipment purchases that could total $26.7 million for the company.
