Pegasus, Starz Encore In Marketing Agreement

Pegasus Communications [Nasdaq: PGTV], a rural satellite TV provider, and Liberty Media [NYSE: L] subsidiary Starz Encore Group have signed a joint marketing agreement. Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based Pegasus and Englewood, Colo.-based Starz will launch three new programming packages combining DirecTV core programming, the Starz Super Pak with 12 commercial-free movie channels, and a two-room satellite system for monthly prices from $39.99 to $53.99.
