Ground Control, a San Luis Obispo, Calif.-based service provider for Hughes Network Systems‘ DirecWay two-way satellite systems, has released IG-VoIP, the first software voice-over-Internet product for DirecWay subscribers, according to the company. Rates start at 7.9 cents per minute for calls to the United States. Calls placed from one IG-VoIP phone to another IG-VoIP phone are free.
