SkyHawke Teams With Sarantel On GPS Golf Range Finder

SkyHawke Technologies is teaming with Sarantel to combine Sarantel’s miniature GeoHelix GPS antenna into the latest version of its SG2 personal digital golf caddie. The SG2 provides instant range information for multiple golf targets per hole for over 3,000 golf courses in eight countries spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.
About the size of a cell phone, the SG2 clips onto a golfer’s belt or bag and computes position data via GPS satellites. Ranges are computed automatically to within a couple of meters for pre-programmed locations on each hole, such as bunkers, water hazards, and any point on the green. The SG2 also computes the length of golf shots with a touch of a button.
