Pace Micro Technology has signed a contract to provide set top boxes for Sky Italia, the newly formed Italian satellite broadcaster 81-percent owned by News Corp [NYSE: NWS] and 19.9- percent owned by Telecom Italia [NYSE: TI]. Shipley, England-based Pace Micro expects to commence deliveries in the summer to support the new Sky Italia service launch.
