Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV), a Reston, Va.-based mobile satellite services provider, has released Wi-Sys Communications‘ SpaceFAX store-and-forward fax messaging system to MSV’s U.S. dealer network. SpaceFAX enables mobile satellite users to send and receive faxes in areas not covered by conventional wireless or landline communications networks. SpaceFAX will operate with standard fax machines and can be used in the marine, oil and gas, mining, forestry and other industries that require remote, satellite-based data communications.
