Rick Masoni has been named vice president of business development at Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems (LMCSS), taking over that position from Chuck Stees, who left the company to become CFO of Denver-based Space Imaging. Space Imaging is a joint venture of Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT], Raytheon [NYSE: RTN], Mitsubishi and Hyundai. Masoni will retain his current post as executive vice president.

In addition, LMCSS’ government and commercial programs units have been combined into a unified organization headed by Mark A. Pasquale, a vice president and former director of commercial programs. Additionally, engineering and operations have been combined into one organization under Charles G. Krisch, vice president of engineering and operations.
