NSI Global [TSX: NGL], a Montreal-based supplier of satellite-based communication systems, announced Monday that its wholly owned subsidiary, Vistar Telecommunications, has licensed intellectual property to Aether Systems for net proceeds of C$2.3 million (US$1.62 million). Aether has been granted a limited perpetual license to Vistar’s satellite communication technology for a one-time fee. Vistar has also sold associated inventory, at cost, for an additional C$1.3 million (US$0.92 million).
