Internet Satellite Platform (ISAT), an affiliate of SES Americom, has signed up more than 300 partners for its SatXpress one-way satellite Internet access service. The wholesale broadband product combines standards-based satellite technology with terrestrial-based dial-up service, enabling partners to leverage the ISAT brand to reach consumers and businesses in areas not served by cable and DSL.

ISAT said it designed SatXpress to optimize the structural economics of satellite technologies while capitalizing on the satellite strength–one-way broadcasting. The wholesale model allows partners to maintain customer account control, set service pricing, and provide customer support for the private-labeled satellite-delivered Internet service.
