John Scelfo, Sirius Satellite Radio’s chief financial officer, is leaving the U.S.-based satellite radio provider April 6 to join a company outside the satellite industry.

Scelfo played a key role in arranging Sirius’ $1.2 billion recapitalisation completed earlier this month. A search is underway to find a successor.
