EMS Technologies [ELMG] has signed an agreement that makes Stratos a principal reseller to the trucking industry of EMS’ suite of satellite communications terminals. With the partnership, Stratos can offer trucking fleets the EMS PDT-100 satellite terminal for Global Positioning System tracking, data, and messaging. The system communicates using Mobile Satellite Ventures’ MSAT-1 spot-beam-equipped satellite in geostationary orbit.
