Orbis Telecom has launched voice over IP (VoIP) services based on its CosmoCall Universe platform, which uses satellite communications links. The CosmoCall Universe servers in Florida can route calls via IP to client workstations in Ecuador. By using VoIP, Orbisreduces the cost of communicating with the Ecuador-based clients. Orbisprovides both inbound and predictive dial outbound services in Spanish and in English.
