Intelsat has formed three business units that report to President and COO Ramu Potarazu. A new business unit, Data, Carrier & Internet, will be led by John Stanton and concentrate on Intelsat’s largest customer base–telecommunications companies.

Intelsat Video Solutions, headed by its president, Jon Romm, will streamline all video operations at the company to accelerate response times to broadcasters and other video customers. The unit is identifying opportunities to grow sales worldwide and to introduce the latest video products and services to customers.

Intelsat Government Solutions will focus on maintaining and developing government customers located in North America and Europe. Susan Miller will serve as president of this unit. Intelsat has provided communications services to governments worldwide for several decades.
