U.K. antenna supplier Sarantel announced a surface mount version of its GeoHelix miniature Global Positioning System antenna. Sarantel’s (Wellingborough, England) GeoHelix-S can be mounted directly onto GPS circuit boards, simplifying production and lowering costs. It is suited for portable and hand-held GPS applications including use in cellular handsets.
