Globecomm Systems [Nasdaq: GCOM], a provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications, entered into three agreements that involve two satellite equipment contracts for $2.3 million and a separate deal to turn OneTouch Systems into a marketing partner.

The equipment sales agreements are with an identified U.S. government agency and a large digital-satellite television service provider, said David Hershberg, CEO of Globecomm ((Hauppauge, N.Y.). With OneTouch, Globecomm would offer multinationals and international organizations distance learning services from infrastructure and integration to content services and support.
