Boeing [NYSE: BA] has selected Dave Ryan to lead its Boeing Satellite Systems unit. Ryan, a 13-year Boeing employee, succeeds Randy Brinkley, who will leave the company on June 1.

As general manager of Boeing Satellite Systems, Ryan will report to Bill Collopy, vice president and general manager of Launch and Satellite Systems, a division of St. Louis- based Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. Prior to joining Boeing in 1990, Ryan spent a 13-year career designing and operating satellitesystems at TRW Defense and Space.
