GMPCS Personal Communications of Pompano Beach, Fla., has extended its distribution agreement with Telenor Satellite Services, a unit of Norwegian telecom carrier Telenor [Nasdaq: TELN].

GMPCS will continue to use Telenor Satellite Services as a preferred provider of global mobile satellite data and voice communications services over the Inmarsat satellite network. The annual agreement includes Telenor’s portfolio of global communications services via satellite including Inmarsat‘s regional broadband global area network.
