C-Com Satellite Systems is teaming up with the Minnesota State Patrol to provide satellite-based communications.

C-Com (Ottawa, Ontario) delivered a number of its iNetVu Mobile satellite-based antenna systems to the Minnesota Patrol’s commercial vehicle section to support a specialized international border security force.The purpose is to aid field personnel in conducting special safety & weight enforcement in the remote northern areas of the state, C-Com officials said. The Internet connection provided by C-Com lets officers in the field access a number of web sites that provide information for law enforcement purposes, company officials said.
