Starz Encore Group and its sister company, International Channel Networks, have renewed satellite capacity contracts with PanAmSat [SPOT]. As part of the agreement, Starz Encore and International Channel will continue to distribute their programming on the Galaxy-IRR, Galaxy-VR and Galaxy XI satellites, ensuring uninterrupted distribution of Starz Super Pak and International Channel Networks programming to U.S. cable and satellite affiliates.

In addition, the Starz Encore-PanAmSat agreement extends Starz Encore’s lease on PanAmSat’s Galaxy-IX satellite with an option for capacity expansion to accommodate possible new services.
