Fox Kids Europe (FKE) has been boosted by a recent five-year deal that sees the launch of the Fox Kids Channel on the Polsat Cyfrowy DTH platform. It will become the only children’s channel available on both satellite pay-TV platforms in Poland. The deal will increase the Polish channel’s subscriber base by 250,000 to 2 million households in Poland. Dominik Libicki, president and CEO of Polsat Cyfrowy said: “The addition of Fox Kids Poland to our line-up of channels demonstrates our commitment to providing our subscribers with top quality programming.”

In a separate announcement, FKE said it intends to integrate its online and interactive operations into its channel division in order to achieve further synergies. FKE’s online and interactive operations are expected to be profitable in September 2003.
