Hot Bird 6, the latest addition to Eutelsat’s satellite fleet, is awaiting its Aug. 11 launch onboard an Atlas rocket from Cape Canaveral, Fla.. The satellite will strengthen Eutelsat’s orbital capacity which currently consists of twelve conventionally stabilised satellites, five inclined-orbit satellites and further capacity rented on four third-party satellites.
