In the July 27 issue of MOBILE SATELLITE NEWS, we reported that Orbital Sciences Corp. [ORB] replaced outgoing Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Pirone with incoming head Garrett Pierce. In that article, we mistakingly attributed responsibility for Orbital’s financial problems directly to Pirone. Orbital’s Founder, Chairman and CEO David Thompson has, in fact, stated publicly that the company’s financial and accounting missteps rest solely on his shoulders and not on his direct lieutenants. We regret the misinterpretation.
