SkyDigital has started targeting subscribers to its cheapest pay-TV package – the big basic Family Package, which costs pounds13 and does not offer access to premium channels – with a special offer, according to which they will be offered access to the Sky World premium package, which contains premium film and sports channels, for a special rate of pounds9.50 a month. Normally, this would cost an extra pounds19.00 a month. The offer lasts two months, after which subscribers can either terminate the offer, or trade up to pay the full price.
