As previously anticipated in Interspace, Fox Kids has confirmed it will launch an Italian-language channel on Italy’s Stream digital bouquet. The new channel will launch on April 1. The new market means Fox Kids is now available in some 30 countries, and to around 16 million households. Fox Kids floated last November, raising Euro270 million to invest in new programming, valuing Fox Kids Europe at some Euro1.1 billion. Additionally, Fox Kids has appointed Benoit Runel as executive director programming and acquisition, Fox Kids Europe. Runel was previously with Fox Kids France.
