AT&T OKs Sierra Wireless Router for Public Safety Network

Sierra Wireless, a provider of fully integrated device-to-cloud solutions for the Internet of Things (IOT), received certification and approval to use its Airlink MG90 High-Performance Multi-Network Vehicle Router for the AT&T FirstNet public safety communications platform.
The AirLink MG90 aims to provide secure connectivity for mission-critical applications in public safety services and is the first device to receive FirstNet Ready designation.
AT&T is building FirstNet as a nation-wide platform for U.S. first responders as part of a public-private partnership to upgrade public safety agencies’ technological capabilities.
