[Via Satellite 05-22-2014] In a move to better serve customers in emerging markets, ITC Global is concentrating on building up its presence in the Asia Pacific region. The company has opened a new office in Singapore under the leadership of Ashok Rao. The new office is part of a larger strategic investment in the region. ITC Global’s main Asia Pacific office is located in Perth, Australia.

The Singapore office will bring new facilities and personnel closer to customers in the offshore energy and commercial maritime markets. Rao joined ITC Global recently, but has a long history in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining the company, he worked as an information technology (IT) business leader for EMAS, a subsidiary of the ERZA Group that provides specialized marine services to the oil and gas industry with a fleet of 60 offshore support vessels.

ITC Global’s new Singapore office comes on the heels of new operations in Aberdeen, Scotland to support clients in the North Sea region.
